Las Carretas 20th Golf Invitational 2018
Las Carretas 20th Golf Invitational 2018 was held on Thursday, 22 March 2017 at the prestigious Kota Pemai Golf and Country Club. A total of 18 flights consisting of loyal golfers and friends of Las Carretas participated.
Our Patron is none other than YTM Tunku Besar Tampin Tunku Razman. He was accompanied with JP Monteiro, Encik Zainul and Datuk Mazlan who teed-off from tee box 1 Flight number 1 at 7:45AM.
Weather was kind and refreshments were sponsored by our local distributors. Lunch and prize giving was held at Las Carretas Taipan from 1PM till 5:45PM.
Novelty prizes were Longest Drive followed by 3 Bulls eye Holes and a Hole-in-One. The only novelty winner was Thinesh who went home with a Taylor made putter for hitting the longest drive. Collection of RM1,560.00 from the Bulls eye pool and the proceeds of RM910.00 from the auctioning of two powered tools will be donated to Rumah Panjang Jinjang Utara.
Medal B Winner was won by Encik Zainul while Medal A Winner went to Encik Azizul. Overall Gross Stableford winner was our defending champion from last year, Bob Phua. Last but not least, Team even was won by Team Hainan, followed by Team TBT and 2nd runners up went to Team Canada.
